Account Manager Sales

• Conduct daily email outreach to manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers to introduce United Merchants and our

inventory purchasing capabilities.

• Make outbound calls to prospective vendors to identify excess, overstock, short-dated, discontinued, and other

distressed inventory opportunities.

• Consistently follow up with vendor contacts through email and phone to develop new business relationships.

• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective vendors and inventory opportunities.

• Research and identify new manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers across food and beverage categories.

• Develop relationships with vendor contacts responsible for excess inventory, closeouts, discontinued products, and

inventory liquidation.

• Follow up on previous conversations and periodically check in with vendors for new inventory opportunities.

• Request and collect inventory lists, pricing, product dating, quantities, warehouse locations, and other relevant

information.

• Review potential opportunities with management and assist in determining which inventory is a fit for United Merchants.

• Maintain accurate records of vendor contacts, outreach, follow-ups, and opportunities in our CRM.

• Maintain regular communication with existing vendor relationships to generate repeat inventory opportunities.
