Neurodiverse Clinical Director - Now Hiring

The Clinical Director is the clinical leader for Sid Jacobson JCC’s Center for Neurodiversity, overseeing clinical quality and care across programs serving individuals from early childhood (age 5) through adulthood. This role serves as the primary clinical point of contact for families and care management teams, provides hands-on clinical leadership for complex and high-acuity cases, and ensures that clinical practice across the Center reflects current best practices in neurodiversity-affirming care. The Director also builds and strengthens the Center's clinical supervision and training infrastructure, including supervision of LMSWs and oversight of social work internship placements, and provides clinical leadership support during the summer camp season at Camp Kehilla.

Clinical Leadership & Complex Case Management

•       Serve as the senior clinical lead for the Center for Neurodiversity, providing clear, compassionate, and clinically sound communication to families and to internal care management teams.

•       Provide direct clinical leadership on complex, high-acuity, or multi-system cases, guiding treatment planning and ensuring coordinated, effective care.

•       Support Program Managers and Directors across specialized services on more complex cases, including cases that require connecting and collaborating with external community resources, providers, schools, and agencies.

•       Serve as a clinical thought partner to leadership, helping teams prioritize and respond effectively to competing clinical needs and shifting caseload demands.

Intake, Assessment & Enrollment

•       Serve as the clinical resource for intake and assessment, answering clinical questions from families and staff to ensure appropriate program fit and proper enrollment.

•       Partner with intake and program staff to review clinical presentations and support sound, clinically informed enrollment decisions.

Clinical Supervision & Workforce Development

•       Provide ongoing clinical supervision to LMSWs working toward licensure.

•       Serve as the SIFI (Field Instructor) for the Center, providing SWI clinical oversight and supervision of social work student interns in accordance with field placement requirements.

•       Facilitate and/or recruit and hire clinical staff to lead support groups; lead the expansion of group offerings in line with current clinical best practices for neurodivergent children, teens, and adults.

Seasonal & Cross-Program Support

•       Provide clinical oversight and support during the summer season at Camp Kehilla, ensuring continuity of clinical care and support for campers with additional needs.

•       Represent the Center for Neurodiversity's clinical perspective in cross-departmental planning and program development.

•       LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) required.

•       SIFI (Seminar for Instructors of Field Instruction) certification required; candidates without current SIFI certification must be willing to complete SIFI training within the first year of employment.

•       Minimum of 10 years of post-licensure clinical experience, including experience working with neurodivergent individuals (e.g., autism spectrum, ADHD, learning and developmental disabilities) across the lifespan, from early childhood through adulthood.

•       Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision to social work staff and/or interns.

•       Experience managing complex or high-acuity cases, including coordination with outside community agencies, schools, and providers.

•       Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to speak clearly and sensitively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary care teams.

•       Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively across multiple programs and competing demands.

•       Experience developing or facilitating clinical support groups strongly preferred.

•       Availability and willingness to provide clinical support on-site at Camp Kehilla during the summer season.

Reports to Center leadership at Sid Jacobson JCC and supervises clinical staff, including LMSWs and social work interns, within the Center for Neurodiversity.

Compensation details: 85000-90000 Yearly Salary
