Position Overview
A confidential wholesale distribution company seeks an experienced, motivated Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations and lead a team toward continued growth, excellent customer service, operational efficiency, and profitability.
The Branch Manager will manage employees, inventory, customer relationships, scheduling, and branch operations while ensuring company policies and procedures are consistently followed.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the branch, including managing staff, resources, and budgets.
Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and achieve profit targets.
Lead, motivate, train, and coach a team of employees to achieve high performance.
Organize and oversee staff work schedules and monitor employee performance.
Address customer needs and resolve issues while developing positive, long-term customer relationships.
Maintain accurate inventory information by performing regular inventory cycle counts.
Use company software to research, analyze, and track purchases.
Monitor market conditions and customers' needs to maintain appropriate inventory levels and identify opportunities to increase sales.
Ensure the branch is clean, organized, professional, and inviting to customers.
Conduct weekly staff meetings and provide written reports to upper management.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective coordination and communication.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve branch operations, customer service, sales, and profitability.
