What you'll do:
- Lead and oversee production, warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations across multiple manufacturing facilities.
- Drive operational performance by improving productivity, efficiency, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement standardized processes and continuous improvement initiatives across all locations.
- Manage, coach, and hold facility leadership teams accountable for achieving business and operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align operations with business objectives and communicate performance, priorities, and improvement plans.
What you receive:
- Competitive compensation - $80,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

What you bring to the table:
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, or packaging environment.
- 5+ years of management experience overseeing large teams and multiple operational functions.
- Demonstrated success leading multi-site operations.
- Strong background in production management, shipping, receiving, warehousing, and process improvement.
- Proven ability to establish systems, standards, and accountability measures across multiple locations.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Proficiency with production metrics, performance management, and operational reporting.

Position Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of production, shipping, and receiving operations across four SeaCa Packaging facilities in California. This role drives operational consistency, process standardization, and accountability across all locations while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and customer service objectives are achieved. Working closely with facility leadership teams, the Operations Manager develops leaders, implements best practices, aligns operations across branches, and leads continuous improvement initiatives that support efficiency, growth, and operational excellence.
Essential Functions:
Operational Leadership
- Provide overall leadership and direction for production, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations across four manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure facilities consistently meet production, quality, safety, and delivery objectives.
- Monitor operational performance and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
- Lead facility management teams to achieve operational goals while maintaining high employee engagement.
Process Improvement & Standardization
- Develop, implement, and maintain standardized operating procedures across all branches.
- Establish consistent production, shipping, receiving, inventory, and quality control processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, labor efficiency, throughput, and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize operational metrics and data to identify opportunities and implement sustainable improvements.
Leadership & Accountability
- Lead, coach, and develop plant leaders and supervisory staff across all locations.
- Create a culture of accountability through clear expectations, performance metrics, and regular follow-up.
- Conduct routine site visits to ensure consistent execution of company standards and operational priorities.
- Build strong partnerships with leaders across departments to support organizational objectives.
Safety, Quality, & Compliance
- Champion a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure quality standards are consistently achieved across all facilities.
- Support corrective action processes, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Planning & Communication
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, purchasing, and company leadership to align production capacity with business demand.
- Develop and communicate operational goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
- Prepare and present operational reports, KPIs, and improvement plans to leadership.
- Facilitate consistent communication and collaboration across all facilities.
Other Duties
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, or packaging environment.
- 5+ years of management experience overseeing large teams and multiple operational functions.
- Demonstrated success leading multi-site operations.
- Strong background in production management, shipping, receiving, warehousing, and process improvement.
- Proven ability to establish systems, standards, and accountability measures across multiple locations.

- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with production metrics, performance management, and operational reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to maintain confidential financial information.
- Ability and aptitude with Microsoft O365 and other technology necessary for successful day-to-day functioning in business environment.
- Clear criminal background check and drug test.

Physical Requirements:
- Mental Requirements – Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, to remain poised under all circumstances, and to interact effectively with people in a positive manner that creates confidence and trust.
- Physical Requirements – Long periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending and moving throughout manufacturing facilities. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Long periods of stationary work, working on a computer, moving between various work areas, going up and down stairs, talking on the phone, working with office/computer equipment, attending meetings and sitting at desk or table while listening, talking and taking notes.
