Technician, Engine Assembly

Our client, a leader in advanced power systems and innovative engineering solutions, is seeking a Technician, Engine Assembly to join their team. As a Technician, Engine Assembly, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Engine Assembly team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong mechanical skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technician, Engine Assembly

Location: Milford, OH

Pay Range: $35.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift. Working a 4x10 + mandatory overtime on Friday 
Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 5:30 with a half hour lunch.
Friday is 7:00 to 4:00.

What's the Job?

• Assemble Karno™ linear engine subassemblies, including reactor, heater, chillers, seal systems, and linear generator interfaces
• Perform axial and concentric alignment of linear components to tight tolerances
• Execute precision stack-up controlled assemblies, ensuring tolerance accuracy for efficiency and reliability
• Install and verify critical sealing interfaces supporting high-pressure, high-heat environments
• Support testing, teardown, inspection, and iterative improvements based on test feedback

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification, military training, or trade school preferred
• 3–7 years of precision mechanical assembly experience, ideally in advanced engine, aerospace, or high-tolerance electromechanical environments
• Experience with seal installation, press fits, torque, and preload-controlled fastening
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and assembly schematics
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in measurement tools and attention to detail
