Multimedia Coordinator (Temporary Position)

Join our client’s dynamic team as a Multimedia Coordinator, where your skills will play a vital role in supporting the production of multimedia content for a prestigious publication. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects within a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy in every piece of content you help create. 

Compensation: $32.00 per hour*
*Listed not guaranteed – potential offers vary based on experience level, qualifications, and internal equity and may be outside of this range.

This role is part-time (25 hours/week) and remote. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production teams to meet daily content deadlines.
• Assist with transcripts, captions, and other multimedia content.
• Convert and format files while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Review audio, video, and written content for quality and accuracy.
• Prepare materials for internal review, following established style guidelines.
• Support the development of supplemental content, including summaries and blurbs.
• Manage multiple priorities independently in a deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 1 year of copyediting or proofreading experience within a publication environment, preferably involving multimedia content.
• Strong computer literacy, with experience in Web QA preferred.
• Basic understanding of XML or HTML is advantageous.
• Familiarity with change-tracking tools and markup conventions, alongside a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
