Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Clinical Specialist in the INTRA CL specialty located in the organizations healthcare facility. This role involves supporting interventional radiology procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety through sterile techniques and proper inventory management. The position requires working scheduled days with on-call responsibilities.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: ARRT Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT R), BLS certification; 2 years of relevant experience preferred; location must be at least 75 miles from the facility; minimum 0 years of experience required.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Assisting with advanced interventional radiology procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, central venous access/port placement, dialysis graft interventions, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, TIPS, and ultrasound-guided techniques; equipment setup and maintenance; adhering to sterile techniques and isolation precautions; managing supplies and inventory; working with PACS and charting systems; maintaining patient and procedural safety.
- Additional requirements: Clinical experience with stroke, body IR, neuro IR, Siemens equipment, and community hospital settings preferred.
- Submittal information: Candidates must meet all certification and experience qualifications and be prepared for scheduled orientation and compliance modules prior to start date.
- Float: Regular floating between departments and facilities as needed.
