Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ year of CT experience and ARRT CT/ARRT(R) certification, capable of independently covering both CT and X-ray.
Details
- Community hospital setting covering CT Tech duties
- 2x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, including Saturdays and Sundays
- No call requirements
- Holiday coverage only required if a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday
- Uses McKesson/Change PACS system
- Performs CTA work and portable X-ray per facility protocols
- Must be able to independently cover both CT and X-ray if staffing is limited
Requirements
- ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year CT experience required
- IV competency required, including starting peripheral IVs
- Epic experience within the last 18 months required and must be documented on profile
- Experience with GE and Siemens equipment
- Skilled in image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
- Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
- Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
- Active compact or TN license required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging across adult acute care, outpatient, ED, and ICU settings
- Work in Level I and Level II Trauma Center environments
- Handle abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest imaging studies
- Perform vascular CTA and other special procedures
- Local candidates and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate
- Flu vaccine exemptions are not accepted
- Candidates should expect to float as needed
