Job Summary:
The X-ray Technologist position is located in Grapevine, TX. This role involves performing radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the supervision of a radiologist. The technician will be responsible for producing high-quality imaging in accordance with established protocols, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining departmental standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 5x8s, Mon-Fri, 1300-2130; 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ARRT (Registered), Texas MRT; 0 years minimum experience required; location in Grapevine, TX
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in radiology or imaging preferred
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Performs radiology procedures following exam protocols; maintains imaging quality and safety standards; documents patient information accurately; prepares patients and equipment for procedures; adheres to infection control and radiation safety policies; maintains equipment and work area; assists in inventory management; ensures patient screening and documentation compliance; maintains timely and accurate medical imaging records; demonstrates professional communication and patient care skills; provides training to new team members when needed; may serve as preceptor and take call if required.
