We are seeking an experienced Contract Computed Tomography Technician to provide temporary overnight coverage in Allen, TX. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to contribute to a leading healthcare facility during an employee's approved FMLA leave. The technologist will perform both CT and diagnostic radiography exams while supporting Emergency Department inpatient trauma and stroke imaging needs.
Schedule:
- Orientation & Training: Start Date: September 14, 2026
- Night Shift Coverage Period: September 23, 2026 - November 5, 2026
- Primary Schedule Beginning September 27, 2026:
- Week 1: Sunday-Tuesday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (36 hours)
- Week 2: Sunday-Wednesday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (48 hours)
- No call required
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT R certification required
- ARRT CT certification required
- Current Texas MRT license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum two (2) years of recent Rad/CT experience
Required Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years of experience performing both CT and Diagnostic Radiology examinations
- Stroke imaging experience required
- Siemens CT scanner experience required
- Epic experience required
- Experience supporting Emergency Department and inpatient imaging workflows
- Ability to work independently on overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong patient care and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and diagnostic radiology examinations according to department protocols
- Support Emergency Department trauma, stroke, and inpatient imaging needs
- Operate Siemens CT equipment efficiently and safely
- Complete accurate Epic documentation
- Maintain quality, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
- Prioritize urgent and emergent imaging requests during overnight operations
