Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring CT/PET experience and ARRT (CT) certification (license required if applicable).
Details
- CT department in a 410-bed community hospital
- 3x12-hour day shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
- Every 3rd weekend required
- No call requirements
- Performs a variety of CT procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed CT techniques for diagnosis
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year CT/PET experience required
- ARRT (CT) certification and NYS license required if applicable
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Contrast injection experience required
- GE scanner experience preferred
- Ability to obtain intravenous access
- Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Basic computer skills
Additional Information
- Candidate must have their own vehicle
- Previous or current travel experience strongly encouraged
- No block scheduling considered for this assignment
- No more than 5 days of RTO accepted, and must be requested at time of upload
- Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2-hour notice
- Dress code allows personal scrubs of any color with no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
- Candidates within 50 miles of the facility or from specific NY counties may be eligible for a discounted travel rate
- COVID vaccination strongly encouraged but not required
