Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week hospital assignment requiring ARRT (CT) certification, NYS licensure, and at least 1 year of CT/PET experience.
Details
- Work in the CT department of a community hospital
- 3x12-hour day shifts, either 10:30 AM-11 PM or 8 AM-8:30 PM
- Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend
- No on-call requirements
- Block scheduling will not be considered for this assignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year CT/PET experience required
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- NYS license required (license required if applicable)
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Contrast injection experience required
- GE scanner experience preferred
- Compact license not accepted
- Must have a personal vehicle
- Permanent address must be included in profile and match Driver License/State ID
Additional Information
- Perform a variety of CT procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed techniques for diagnosis
- Capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures
- Ability to obtain intravenous access
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required
- Basic computer skills required
- Personal scrubs of any color permitted; no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
- COVID vaccination strongly encouraged but not required; status must be noted in profile
- No more than 5 days of RTO accepted, and must be requested and verified prior to upload
- Travelers with a permanent address in specific NY counties or within 50 miles of Glens Falls will be considered for this assignment
- Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2 hours notice
