Part Time CT Technologist - 3rd Shift (19:00 to 07:00)
Location: Randolph VTShift: 7p-7a; 2-Days a week Thurs & Sat, 24hr/week:
Position Summary: The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment. This role supports patient care by producing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Core Responsibilities:
- Operate CT imaging equipment to perform scans as ordered by physicians.
- Prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their safety.
- Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images.
- Maintain imaging equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to review images and assist in diagnosis.
Qualifications:
Specific Educational/Vocational Requirements:- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Experience and training in computed tomography (CT) imaging.
- Proficient in operating CT scanners and related imaging technology.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
