Job Overview
Forklift Operators safely move materials and finished products throughout the production and warehouse areas. You will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by ensuring products are handled correctly while meeting safety and quality standards.
What You Will Do
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move materials, pallets, and products within production and warehouse areas.
- Load and unload trucks, storage areas, and production lines safely and efficiently.
- Use scanning tools and computer systems to complete basic records.
- Inspect equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns
- Perform job duties in a fast paced, cold, or warm production setting with required PPE while engaging in physical tasks such as standing for long periods of time, climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested.
- Follow all safety, food safety, and regulatory policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to operate a forklift or obtain and maintain certification.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Previous forklift or powered industrial truck experience.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments.
- Familiarity with scanning systems or inventory tracking tools.
- Work history in the last 12 months.
