Delivery Driver/Warehouse Attendant

We are looking for a person that has had previous experience in WINE or BEVERAGE deliveries.

This person MUST be able to carry on an clear, polite, intellegent conversation.This will be the first qualification you must pass. Although we don't have a dress code, so to speak, we do expect you to always dress in presentable cloths.

Cantiniere Imports & Distributing, Inc., a premier Italian wine importer based in Columbia, Md. We are seeking a reliable, professional person to deliver cases of wine to restaurants, retailers and boutique wine shops across Maryland, Virginia and the DC areas. You will be provided a company van and gas to use for your daily delivers. You morning duties will consist of pulling wine cases in the warehouse that match prepared orders. After verifying orders are correct, you will carefully load the van. You will follow the provided routes already determined in advanced. Its important that you provide excellent customer service when dealing with our customers. You are the face of Cantiniere Imports. We expect you to be courteous and respectful whenever you are representing our company. Your actions can make the difference between retaining their business or lossing it to our competitors.

After you have completed your deliveries you will returned to the warehouse with the proper paperwork for the day. At this time you will check the company van for any needed maintenance. Clean up the warehouse as needed. There be times that you will needed to unload our shipments that are recieved. This requires heavy lifting and steadiness in order to prevent breakage of expensive cases of wine.

Your attire should always be clean and neat. Its imperative that you be punctual and ready to work each day.

In order for you to be considered, we require a clean drivers record, that you live within 10 miles of Howard County, speak clear engish (bilingual welcomed), and that you have delivery experence( wine delivery is a big plus)

If you are hired for this position, you will be placed on a 30 day probational period. This is to make sure that you are a good fit for this job and that this job is a good fit for you.
