Warehouse Quality Control Lead | Henderson, NV

Nexeo Staffing is hiring an experienced Warehouse Quality Control Lead for a large transportation and logistics operation in Henderson, NV. We are specifically seeking candidates with hands-on quality control or quality assurance experience in a warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment center, or logistics environment. This role is responsible for warehouse quality audits, inventory accuracy, process compliance, root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and coaching employees on quality and safety standards. Candidates whose quality experience is primarily in manufacturing, laboratory, food production, or product inspection without warehouse or distribution experience may not be a match for this position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily quality audits across warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Perform facility and process inspections to identify quality, safety, and compliance concerns.
• Verify employees are following SOPs, standard work instructions, and established warehouse procedures.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and review cycle-count results and inventory variances.
• Investigate shortages, mispicks, shipping errors, damaged product, inventory discrepancies, and other warehouse quality issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Track audit results and quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain accurate quality records, controlled documents, and required documentation.
• Support continuous-improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
• Coach warehouse employees on quality expectations, procedures, safety requirements, and individual accountability.
• Reinforce PPE, dock safety, SDS, and other workplace safety requirements.
• Ensure incidents, hazards, and near-misses are properly documented and reported.
• Coordinate with warehouse leadership, customers, and suppliers to resolve quality concerns.
• Prepare accurate documentation for returns and other quality-related shipments.

Qualifications

• Previous QC or QA experience in a warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment center, or logistics environment.
• Hands-on experience conducting warehouse quality audits or process audits.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, inventory discrepancies, shipping, and receiving.
• Ability to investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Previous team lead, employee coaching, training, or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse SOPs, standard work, quality documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Working knowledge of warehouse safety practices, including PPE and SDS requirements.
• Strong computer, documentation, data-analysis, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work the selected shift consistently and reliably.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a large distribution center, transportation operation, or third-party logistics (3PL) environment.
• Lean Six Sigma or other continuous-improvement experience.
• Experience with document control or Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Experience working with warehouse quality KPIs, audit results, or inventory-accuracy metrics.

Pay

$25.50-$26.30 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Multiple shifts available:

• First Shift | 4:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. | Monday-Thursday
• Second Shift | 1:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m. | Monday-Thursday
• Swing Shift | 9:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. | Sunday-Thursday
• Weekend Day Shift | 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. | Friday-Sunday
• Weekend Night Shift | 6:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. | Friday-Sunday
