Job Description
IMMEDIATE job opportunity for a driven individual who has a proven track record of performance and desire to work for a well-established organization. We are looking for an experienced Dispatcher for one of the most comprehensive logistics companies serving the Import/Export community located in Santa Fe Springs, CA.
Shift: 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM start
Language: Bilingual Spanish/English required
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Dispatch Clerk to join our client’s team in Santa Fe Springs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation, routing, and warehouse operations, with the ability to coordinate daily activities and support a fleet of 15+ drivers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage daily driver routes and dispatch activities.
- Route and communicate with 15+ drivers to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Monitor driver schedules and assist with resolving routing or operational issues.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel and transportation teams.
- Support daily warehouse operations as needed.
- Operate a forklift and assist with warehouse-related tasks when required.
- Maintain accurate dispatch, routing, and operational records.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and management.
- Follow company safety and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous transportation, dispatch, or routing experience required.
- Experience routing 15 or more drivers preferred.
- Previous warehouse operations experience required.
- Forklift experience preferred.
Compensation: $20/hr
