What You’ll Do
- Operate radiographic fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging equipment during procedures
- Assist the medical team with patient setup and preparation for cardiac interventions
- Monitor patient vitals and ensure safety throughout procedures
- Conduct quality control on imaging equipment and maintain operational standards
- Document procedures accurately for billing and record-keeping
- Transmit and archive digital images in PACS
- Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize staff and patient exposure
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Adapt procedures to cater to diverse patient populations
- Perform related duties as assigned to support cardiac care services
What You Need
Required:
- ARRT registered Radiologic Technologist license in LA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
- 2+ years of experience as an allied health professional in imaging or related field
- Proficiency in computer systems and software applications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience with fluoroscopy, PACS, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and attention to detail
