Job Summary
X-ray Technologist Location: Clyde, NC. This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on stress testing, ensuring high-quality patient care. The role requires a professional with critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Performs exercise, pharmaceutical, and echo stress tests; monitors, records, and communicates patient condition; prepares preliminary paperwork for interpretation by the cardiologist; recognizes chest pain and arrhythmias during stress testing; responds promptly to emergencies.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire. Licenses: Radiologic Technologist and Technician. Must be ARRT registered or registry eligible; active member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Education: Graduate of an approved course in Radiologic Technology. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in healthcare or related x-ray departments.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Experience in other x-ray departments, clinics, or medical offices is highly desirable.
