Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is located in the healthcare provider's imaging department. This role involves performing diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans and related imaging procedures to support accurate patient diagnoses. The technologist actively participates in patient education, ensuring procedures are explained clearly to promote patient understanding and cooperation while adhering to safety standards and protocols.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program; ARRT registration in Radiology (R) including Computed Tomography (CT); current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the United States, successfully pass background and pre-employment drug tests, and complete Employee Health requirements.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years prior experience as a practicing CT Technologist; cross-trained into modalities such as MRI, DEXA, and Mammography; experience with electronic records, including PACS and RIS/HIS.
  • Additional Information: Demonstrates proficiency in IV placement for contrast administration, ensures radiation safety in accordance with ALARA standards, operates imaging equipment per manufacturer instructions, troubleshoots equipment issues, maintains accurate patient records, and may perform other duties within the clinic as needed. Flexibility in assisting with other modalities, schedules, and shifts is expected. The role requires ongoing training or certification updates as mandated.
