Job Summary
X-ray Technologist position located in the regional healthcare organization. This role involves providing imaging services across various units, ensuring high-quality patient care. The position requires a keen understanding of radiologic procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols, with the ability to float between departments as needed.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT R), current BLS certification, valid Oregon state license; at least 1 year of experience in radiologic procedures; flexibility to work Mon Fri 7:30 am 4:00 pm; on-call required, with 3 shifts per month; must be able to perform procedures including Abdomen decubitus, Chest AP and lateral decubitus, Extremities, Spine, Pelvis, among others.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, Head fluoroscopy studies, Carestream and O-arm equipment, pediatric imaging experience, and prior work in trauma or acute care settings.
- Additional Information: Candidate must have experience with a variety of radiologic procedures, including contrast media administration, portable imaging, and radiation safety protocols. Must comply with all state licensing and hospital safety standards. Additional responsibilities include adhering to facility protocols during procedures and maintaining equipment safety.
