Human Services Analyst

THE POSITION

Become a Human Services Analyst with the Department of Human Services and help build strong foundations for young learners! DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This role supports the coordination, alignment, and improvement of quality initiatives for early childhood programs across Pennsylvania. As a Human Services Analyst, you will perform the following duties:

• Quality Alignment: Ensure program standards remain consistent across state licensing, Quality Rating and Improvement System, national accreditation, and Head Start
• Program Coordination: Support smooth transitions for programs moving between components of the early childhood system
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with regional partners and grantees to maintain strong communication and guidance on quality initiatives
• Policy Support: Assist headquarters in developing and updating policies, procedures, and systems to meet federal requirements
• Data Monitoring: Review reports and information to identify trends, assess performance, and recommend improvements

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor's degree; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.

Other Requirements:
