DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Note: This is an itinerant position, requiring travel as needed. This position is located out of store number #6201 in Warren but will travel to other stores in the designated district.

This position supports retail operations by guiding staff and maintaining smooth daily activity in the store. It focuses on customer service, inventory accuracy, safety, and store readiness. As a Sales Team Lead (Full-Time) Itinerant, you will perform the following duties:

• Customer Support: Assist customers with locating products, addressing concerns, and ensuring positive interactions
• Store Readiness: Maintain store appearance, support opening and closing procedures, and ensure staff coverage
• Cash Accuracy: Monitor money handling, verify cash amounts, and oversee register activity throughout shifts
• Inventory Control: Check product counts, update inventory systems, and manage stock organization
• Merchandising Tasks: Guide staff in stocking shelves, building displays, and maintaining safe equipment use
• Delivery Oversight: Lead unloading processes, organize delivered goods, and rotate stock for efficient use

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or

• Six months of retail sales work.

Other Requirements:

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

• You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
