Job Title: High-Rise Commercial PainterJob Description

Join our dynamic project team as a High-Rise Commercial Painter, working on impressive high-rise buildings in Downtown Dallas. This role involves exterior restoration, painting, and waterproofing work on commercial high-rise structures, requiring comfort with working at heights and utilizing swing stages for building access.

Responsibilities
  • Perform exterior commercial painting on high-rise buildings using paints, coatings, sealants, and waterproofing products with brushes and rollers.
  • Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, cleaning, patching, caulking, and priming.
  • Conduct waterproofing, sealing, and weatherproofing applications on building exteriors.
  • Follow project specifications to ensure quality finishes and long-term durability.
  • Inspect surfaces and identify areas requiring repairs or additional preparation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company safety procedures at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with the crew to meet project schedules and production goals.
Essential Skills
  • Previous experience as a commercial painter.
  • Experience working on mid-rise or high-rise commercial buildings.
  • Comfortable working at heights and using swing stages, suspended scaffolding, or similar access equipment.
  • Knowledge of surface preparation, coating application, and exterior painting techniques.
  • Ability to safely use brushes, rollers, hand tools, and painting equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with waterproofing systems, caulking, sealants, and building envelope maintenance.
  • Previous experience applying elastomeric coatings, waterproof coatings, or commercial exterior sealants.
  • Experience on commercial restoration or exterior façade projects.

Work Environment

Initially, employees will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Demonstrating strong performance, reliability, and a commitment to safety can lead to an extended schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with additional overtime available on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
