Accounting Assistant

Job Title: Accounting Assistant / Junior Accountant (6+ Months Contract)

Location: Bradenton, FL 34211
Pay Rate: $23–$25/hour (Based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant / Junior Accountant to join our team in Bradenton, FL. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for someone who is organized, motivated, and looking to grow within the accounting field. You'll play a key role in supporting daily accounting functions and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process invoices, payments, and bank deposits
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Assist with payroll and other administrative accounting tasks
• Perform general clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks experience is a plus)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and time-management abilities
