Job Title: New Product Development ManagerJob Description

The Integrated Product Team Leader is a dynamic and hands-on leader responsible for coordinating engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and finance teams to achieve program objectives. This role requires an organized, results-driven individual capable of influencing outcomes across a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle execution of assigned projects, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk management.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of project objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones that support customer and business requirements.
  • Drive decision-making related to schedule, budget, and technical trade-offs to maintain project performance.
  • Partner closely with program management to align execution plans with customer expectations and contractual commitments.
  • Establish effective operating rhythms, project reviews, and performance metrics to ensure execution success.
  • Hold team members accountable to commitments and drive timely completion of deliverables.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively address issues that could impact delivery.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and corrective action planning.
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership on project health, risks, recovery plans, and financial performance.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and structured problem-solving efforts to improve efficiency and execution outcomes.
  • Support proposal development activities by providing execution planning, resource estimates, cost inputs, and schedule recommendations.
  • Ensure smooth transition of projects from development into production environments.
  • Maintain compliance with customer requirements, statements of work, and internal processes.
  • Capture lessons learned and implement best practices to improve future project execution.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • 3 to 10 years of experience in project management, engineering, operations, or program execution within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing project scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
  • Experience developing project cost estimates, budgets, and forecasting models.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience identifying project risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate performance metrics and drive corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience supporting both new product development and production programs.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Experience supporting proposal development, project costing, and schedule planning.
  • Knowledge of financial management principles including forecasting, earned value concepts, and variance analysis.
  • Experience working within formal project execution or stage-gate management systems.

This is a highly visible leadership role in a collaborative engineering and manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for driving complex projects from development through production while working closely with engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality teams. The role is fast-paced and hands-on, offering the opportunity to work on highly engineered products and challenging development and production programs. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $170000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
