Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience with elementary special education students preferred
• Strong classroom management and collaborative skills
• Commitment to individualized learning and IEP development

Role Responsibilities:

• Teach and support a newly opened SDC class for elementary students, fostering academic and social-emotional growth
• Collaborate closely with classroom assistants, related service providers, and support staff
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction strategies
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents and administrators regarding student progress
• Contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture
