Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher license required
- Previous experience in a special education classroom, especially with K-2 or severe needs populations, is strongly preferred
- Ability to differentiate curriculum and foster an inclusive classroom environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with parents, staff, and support personnel
- Dedication to promoting the social, emotional, and academic growth of students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction, interventions, and accommodations for elementary students with intensive needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to ensure holistic support
- Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments as necessary
- Engage families and caregivers in supporting student goals and progress
