Radiologic Technologist

Job Description\n

The primary responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist include positioning patients for imaging procedures involving the chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle to prepare for x-ray. The technologist will perform imaging procedures independently, operate X-ray equipment, process images, and document them into the PACS system.

\n

The Radiologic Technologist will also provide basic patient care under the supervision of the clinic nurse, which may include:

• Obtaining vital signs
\n
• Assisting patients in exam rooms
\n
• Collecting specimens, including blood draws if qualified
\n
• Preparing patients for clinician evaluations
\n
• Assisting clinicians during procedures
\n

\n

Additionally, the technologist will ensure the area is orderly and adequately stocked with supplies and equipment. There may be occasions to assist in Main Radiology as needed.

Qualifications\n

\n
• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)
\n
• Current CPR Certification
\n
• California-issued Fluoroscopy Permit
\n
• Current ARRT licensure
\n
• Experience with EPIC EMR
\n
• Previous traveler experience preferred
\n

Shift Information\n

This position requires an 8-hour shift starting at 8:00 AM. Weekend scheduling may be required, and holiday coverage is mandatory.

Experience Requirements\n

Minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
