Job Requirements\n

\n
• At least 1 year of recent experience in a hospital laboratory, clinical laboratory, or similar healthcare setting
\n
• Generalist laboratory experience with a strong concentration in blood bank
\n
• Ability to work independently during night shift and evening coverage
\n
• ASCP certification or equivalent preferred; AMT accepted
\n
• Experience with laboratory systems and analyzers such as Beckman AU, ACCESS2, Sysmex, TOPPS, GEM 5000, BioFire, or Cepheid is a plus
\n
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and patient-focused service
\n
• Comfortable working every other or every third weekend
\n

Responsibilities\n

• Perform routine and specialized clinical laboratory testing as a generalist
\n
• Support blood bank workflows with accuracy, urgency, and quality control
\n
• Operate and monitor laboratory equipment, analyzers, and testing platforms
\n
• Review specimens, verify results, and maintain high standards for laboratory accuracy
\n
• Collaborate with the pathology and laboratory team to support smooth overnight and evening operations
\n
• Maintain compliance with established procedures, safety guidelines, and documentation requirements
\n
• Provide dependable weekend coverage as scheduled
\n
