PAY:
\n Travelers Pay: 
\n Taxable Amount - $36/hr on W2
\n Lodging Stipend - $700 weekly
\n Meals Stipend - $546 weekly
\n Weekly Gross - $2,974 weekly including stipend for 48 hours.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
\n Position - RN-Med Surg/Tele
\n Location - Pikeville, KY 41501 
\n Duration - 13 weeks contract
\n Shift - 12 X 4 hours day and night 

\n

Weekly Hours - 48 hours 
\n  

\n

RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with acute and chronic medical-surgical conditions.
\n Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, including cardiac telemetry rhythms and vital signs.
\n Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and prescribed treatments safely and accurately.
\n Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to the healthcare team.
\n Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
\n Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, and other nursing procedures.
\n Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
\n Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
\n Respond to emergencies, participate in rapid response situations, and provide high-quality patient-centered care.
\n Ensure infection prevention, fall prevention, and quality improvement initiatives are consistently followed.

REQUIREMENT:
\n 2+ years of Med Surg/Tele experience required

\n

New York RN license

\n

50 miles rule, permanent address must be 50 miles from the facility.
