American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/LDRP position requiring seasoned traveler experience and a compact RN license.
Details\n- \n
- Critical access hospital setting caring for OB patients across triage, labor, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care \n
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) \n
- 13-week assignment \n
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on unit needs \n
- Floating required between units \n
- Weekends required, split equally among staff \n
- 48-hour work weeks approved \n
- No on-call requirements \n
- Epic EMR used for charting \n
- \n
- Active RN license (Montana or Compact) required, must be in hand at time of submission \n
- Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery/LDRP experience required \n
- Previous travel experience required; seasoned travelers only \n
- Required certifications: BLS and NRP \n
- Preferred certifications: CLC and STABLE \n
- Epic charting experience required \n
- Skills required: Labor and Delivery management, circulating for C-sections, and sterile vaginal exams \n
- Experience in antepartum care and obstetrical triage required \n

- Provide comprehensive OB nursing care including triage, labor management, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care in a small critical access hospital setting \n
- May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted location \n
- Must work at least one winter holiday pair (Thanksgiving/Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas/Christmas Eve, or New Year's/New Year's Eve) \n
- Scrubs of any color permitted; OR scrubs provided by facility \n
- Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius, though local candidates are accepted at a lower bill rate \n
- Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside outside a 50 mile radius \n
- Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years \n
- Minimal RTO requests preferred to expedite the offer process \n
