Shift: 8hr Day Shift (40)Shift Information: 8AM to 4:30 PM with one hour flex earlier/later depending on case needs. May float to other location/sites, including OB.SimpliFi Clinical Interviewing- YesOn Call, Call Back Requirements: Call every 5th weekday and every 5th weekend.Weekend Rotation: Call every 5th weekendHoliday Requirements: As per schedule rotation.Floating Requirements: 4 other sites/locations including an OB department.\n

\n
\n Functions as Surgical First or Second Assistant to the surgeon for complex and basic operative or invasive procedures. Responsible for performing a variety of procedures or may specialize in a surgical specialty where appropriate. Performs responsibilities of a Surgical Technologist if required.  Primary Location Aurora Medical Center - Kenosha, but may be floated to other sites (Pleasant Prairie ASC, Mount Pleasant, or Racine ASC) depending on case needs.  Will also assist with C-Sections in OB and take call. \n

• RN – Circulate orthopedics, ENT, plastic, OB C-section, vascular, OBGYN Robots, General Robots, Orthopedics robotics, urology, podiatry, Sport medicine Ortho, ortho/neuro spine – CIRCULATE ONLY

• CST – Scrub orthopedics, ENT, plastic, vascular, OBGYN Robots, General Robots, Orthopedics robotics, urology, podiatry, Sport medicine Ortho, ortho/neuro spine

• Surgical Assist . -  Robotic experience is required. This position will assist with training the core staff members with the Davinci XI. They must have experience with General surgeries and OB.

Support on the Unit:  \n

• Charge nurse – takes patient assignment (on Days – covers blocks if needed; PM – relieves if needed at 1715)

• MD on call, 24/7
\n
• Nurses draw labs
\n
• HUC, dayshift only
\n
• Telemetry monitoring done by Anesthesia 
\n

• OR resource hours are from 0715-1700 for 4 rooms and 0715-1900 for two rooms. Outside of the resource hours the time is covered by call teams

• Call Schedule: \n
  \n
  • RN – every 10 th weekend end of shift Friday to 7am Monday morning and 1 night every other week
  \n
  • SPT – every 4 th weekend 7am to 7pm
  \n
  • CST – every 9 th weekend; end of shift Friday to 7am Monday morning and every 5 th week day
  \n
  • Surgical Assist – every 5 th weekend
  \n
  • We can approve up to 7 days off
  \n
