WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Auburn, New York.

- Assist in preparing operating rooms for surgery by setting up surgical instruments and equipment. \n
- Ensure the maintenance of a sterile environment through proper sterilization and disinfection techniques. \n
- Assist surgeons during operations by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment. \n
- Adhere to safety protocols, including fire, laser, radiation, and sharps safety. \n
- Handle and label specimens accurately for laboratory analysis. \n
- Participate in the Universal Protocol (Time Out) procedure to ensure patient safety. \n
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and effective operations. \n

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist. \n
- Current BLS certification. \n
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). \n
- Proficiency in general and ambulatory OR procedures. \n
- Experience in various surgical specialties, including General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, and Urology. \n
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required, with medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed. \n
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and sterilization processes. \n
