Job Description
A family in Greenwich is seeking a Part-Time Nanny to care for their twin elementary-school-aged girls. The ideal candidate is a poised, positive role model who genuinely enjoys working with children. The family is seeking a Mary Poppins type- nurturing, energetic, educationally minded, and excited to plan crafts, read with the children, and create meaningful activities.
Responsibilities
Assist the children with their morning routines and prepare them for school
Safely drive the children to and from school and activities
Provide attentive and engaging after-school care
Plan age-appropriate educational activities, crafts, games, and outings
Read with the children and encourage their continued learning and development
Assist with homework and school-related projects as needed
Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children
Maintain an organized and consistent routine
Communicate proactively with the parents regarding schedules, activities, and the childrens needs
Provide occasional evening and weekend babysitting
Comfortably work in a home with two Golden Retrievers
Qualifications
Prior professional nanny experience, preferably with elementary-school-aged children or twins
Educational background or formal nanny training strongly preferred
Excellent command of English with clear and professional communication skills
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Comfortable with dogs
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Excellent references and ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Schedule
Monday through Friday
Morning hours: 6:30 a.m.8:30 a.m.
Afternoon hours: 2:00 p.m.6:00 p.m.
Approximately 30 hours per week
Availability for up to two date nights per week, including occasional weekends
Flexibility may be requested based on the familys schedule
Compensation: Hourly and paid on the books
