Controls Technician

Snapshot / Role Overview

We're looking for a Commercial BAS and DDC Controls Service Technician in the Dallas area to install, program, and troubleshoot building control systems across commercial and industrial facilities.

• Teach customers and teammates how their systems really run.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and commission BAS and DDC systems.
• Troubleshoot control issues and restore performance and efficiency.
• Perform updates, calibrations, and software upgrades.
• Work from wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients on custom solutions.
• Document service work accurately for compliance and reporting.

Must-Haves

• Three or more years of hands-on BAS and DDC service experience.
• Programming and troubleshooting on major platforms such as Trane, Johnson Controls, Siemens, or Honeywell.
• Solid grounding in low-voltage electrical, networking, and BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
• EPA 608 certification and a valid driver's license.

Nice-to-Haves

• Niagara or Distech certification.
• Experience training end users.

Compensation and Logistics

Competitive salary depending on experience, plus benefits. Field-based in the Dallas area.
