Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Wauchula, Florida. As a PTA, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our residents. Your expertise and dedication will help our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and regain independence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with a variety of medical conditions and injuries
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical abilities and progress towards treatment goals
• Implement and modify treatment plans to address patients' changing needs and respond to progress
• Utilize various rehabilitation techniques and modalities, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans
