Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator who is confident operating a forklift and can step into the role with minimal training or supervision.

This position is ideal for someone with recent, hands-on forklift experience who is comfortable getting on the equipment, safely operating it independently, and getting to work right away. The ability to unload materials efficiently and safely is a key part of this position.

What You'll Do

• Operate a forklift to safely unload materials and products.
• Maneuver the forklift confidently in a busy work environment.
• Load, unload, move, and position materials as directed.
• Perform basic equipment checks before operating the forklift.
• Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines.
• Maintain awareness of pedestrians, equipment, and surrounding work areas.
• Work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Keep the work area organized and free of hazards.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding material movement.

What We're Looking For

Recent forklift experience is strongly preferred. Ideally, you have operated a forklift within the last 3 months and are comfortable returning to the equipment immediately.

The client is looking for someone who can interview, demonstrate their forklift skills, and begin unloading materials with minimal additional training.

You should be comfortable operating a forklift equipped with:

• Three pedals
• Four hydraulic levers

• Has recent, hands-on forklift operating experience.
• Is confident operating a forklift independently.
• Can safely maneuver and unload materials without extensive training.
• Understands basic forklift safety and operating procedures.
• Is dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance.
• Works well independently and follows instructions.
• Takes safety seriously and pays attention to their surroundings.

You should be proficient in:

• Warehouse Experience
• Material Handler Experience
• Loading and Unloading Vehicles
• Heavy Material Handling
• Forklift Licensed
