PAT LPN or RN

Precision Care Surgery Center in East Setauket, NY is looking for a full time Pre-Admissions LPN or RN. As a Pre-admission nurse or PAT nurse, your duties include performing an interview with the patient to obtain their medical history. Pay will be based on experience.

Job Duties include:

• Educates patients on surgical procedures.
• Records patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Initiate’s patient education plan, as prescribed by physician.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to provide nursing care to the patient
• Performs job tasks to ensure personal, patient, and departmental safety
• Communicates effectively and professionally with internal and external customers
• Functions in an organized and time conscious manner

Qualifications

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION

• Currently holds an LPN or RN license for the state of NY.
• BLS Certification is required
• ASC experience preferred.

EDUCATION

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
