Pay: $22–$26 per hour
Starting Rate: $24 per hour
Plan Life Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professionally qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality, individualized care and support to clients in their homes.
The CNA will play an important role in promoting client safety, comfort, dignity, and independence while assisting with activities of daily living and following each client's individualized plan of care.
The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive, compassionate, and committed to delivering exceptional person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide compassionate, respectful, and individualized care to clients.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as appropriate to the client's care plan and the CNA's training.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's condition, behavior, mood, or overall well-being.
- Assist with meals, hydration, and appropriate nutritional routines.
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with the established care plan and applicable requirements.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to the client's care and living environment.
- Provide companionship and encourage appropriate social and recreational activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the client.
- Follow individualized care plans, safety procedures, and Plan Life Care policies.
- Accurately document care provided and communicate relevant observations to the care team.
- Maintain professional communication with clients, family members, supervisors, and healthcare professionals.
- Protect client privacy and maintain strict confidentiality of personal and health-related information.
- Report safety concerns, incidents, changes in condition, or other significant observations promptly.
- Perform other duties within the scope of CNA responsibilities as assigned.
- Current and valid Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Ability to provide compassionate and respectful client care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional work ethic.
- Ability to work independently while following established care plans and instructions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements associated with providing direct client care.
- Successful completion of required background screening and employment requirements.
- Previous home-care, private-duty, assisted-living, rehabilitation, or long-term-care experience.
- Experience working with elderly or medically complex clients.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Experience assisting with mobility, transfers, personal care, and activities of daily living.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation when transportation is required.
$22–$26 per hour
Starting Pay: $24 per hour
The final rate may be determined based on relevant experience, CNA qualifications, availability, schedule, and client care requirements.
