HHA/Pediatric Care

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide high-quality in-home support for children and families. In this role, you will help deliver attentive personal care, promote a safe and nurturing environment, and assist with daily routines that support the child’s comfort, health, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and age-appropriate support in the home setting
• Assist with daily living activities, including hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility support as needed
• Monitor the child’s comfort, safety, and overall condition throughout the shift
• Support medication reminders and follow care instructions provided by the family or care team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe care environment
• Communicate clearly and professionally with family members and other relevant care partners
• Document observations and report any changes in condition or concerns promptly
• Encourage positive routines, engagement, and emotional comfort

Qualifications

• Experience providing personal care or caregiving support in a home or healthcare setting
• Ability to work with children in a patient, respectful, and supportive manner
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail
• Ability to follow care plans, directions, and household routines
• Basic understanding of safety practices and infection control
• Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting pediatric clients
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Home care or aide-related training
• Experience with special needs care or medically complex support
