Senior Mechanical Engineer

TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of innovative mechanical systems and products. This role will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions while providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and product integration.

• Lead technical projects and provide guidance to less experienced engineers.

• Perform engineering analyses, simulations, and design validation activities.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and product enhancements.

• Troubleshoot engineering challenges and develop effective solutions.

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project updates.

• Present engineering recommendations and project status to stakeholders.

• Ensure designs meet performance, quality, safety, and customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• 7-10 years of mechanical engineering experience.

• Strong experience with mechanical system design, analysis, and product development.

• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor engineering team members.

• Experience performing engineering calculations, simulations, and design validation.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting complex product development or manufacturing environments.

• Proficiency with CAD and engineering analysis software.

• Previous technical leadership or project management experience.
