Tool Room Associate

JOB TITLE

Manage tool inventory and tool room making sure tools are available for the shop and that repairs and calibrations are up to date. Generates RDA's and PO's. Maintains control of all tools for the Repair Station. Maintain a clean & organized tool room area. Manage and maintain Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) and perform periodic calendar inspeciton/maintenance.

Control tools flow between tool room, hangar, and back shops utilizing tracking software

Manage tools calibration & repair collaborating with QC, Avionics, Overhaul

Shop and hanger support equipment.

Generate RDA and Inter-company PO for new tools, calibration and repairs,

Investment projects, RAI's originator/follow-up. Interaction & pre-quoting with vendors and service providers. Service approval. Invoice issues, Invoice acceptance.

4.

Tool inspection and certification, creating of tool kits, repairing tools for customer support service, support tech rep's, engineering, training dept., facilities and all other support teams as needed.

Manage broken, unserviceable, and quarantine tools.

Order and receive hazmat, consumables and hardware as needed.

Tracks and manages cal and load tests for jigs, fixtures, overhead lifting devices, etc.

AWPC audits, FAA audits, Customer (DCMA) audits

8.

Track tools that are rented to customers & Service Centers

9.

Oversees Haz waste accumulation points and coordinates vendor disposal

10.

Organize and maintain GSE OEM technical publications

Forklift certified.
