RN - PERINATAL SERVICES (CNA)

Job Summary:
Provides professional nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Coordinates and delegates care while maintaining nursing standards and promoting teamwork.

Education & Experience:
• Graduate of a school of nursing (Required)
• One year of recent acute care RN experience (Required)

Licenses & Certifications:
• RN license in state of practice (Required)
• BLS certification (Required)
• ACLS certification (Required within 6 months of hire/transfer)
• NRP certification (Required within 6 months of hire/transfer)
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (Required)
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring for novice/new L&D RNs
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS (Required)
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS (Required)

Key Responsibilities:
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Coordinates and delegates patient care with the healthcare team.
• Maintains professional licenses and certifications.
• Follows nursing, regulatory, hospital, and safety standards.
• Provides patient and family support and education.
• Maintains confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Practices infection control and workplace safety.
• Participates in quality improvement and continuing education.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
