Your day at a glance

From the first cut to the final bend, you’ll transform raw stock into precise parts. You’ll operate a shear and a press brake to shape and form sheet metal, plate, and various structural metals with accuracy and consistency. Your eye for detail will guide every measurement and every bend.

What you’ll do

• Operate shear and press brake to shape and form sheet metal, plate, and structural metals.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure correct dimensions and tolerances.
• Use a tape measure confidently to verify dimensions throughout production.

What you bring

• Familiarity with shear and press brake equipment.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Accurate measuring skills with a tape measure.

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Comfort with bending, stooping, overhead reaching, repetitive lifting, and squatting.
• Capability to lift at least 70 lbs.
