Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES- Diagnose problems, repair, and replace parts, test and make adjustments.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Actively participates in Safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Performs any other assigned duty as directed by management.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying to procedures, rules, and regulations.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS
High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent
Experience in BUILDING/FACILITY maintenance required at least 3 years; manufacturing environment preferred.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC
Demonstrates a professional and positive attitude as well as a passion for continuous improvement.
Basic blueprint and schematic reading skills
Ability to effectively work under minimal supervision.
Must be flexible to both indoor and outdoor work.
Certificate in one or more related fields is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- Minimal safety hazards; general requirements of an office environment.
- Sitting; standing; walking throughout the facility; talking; seeing; hearing; feeling; bending or stooping; squatting or crouching; reaching; kneeling; pushing; pulling; lifting to 25 lbs.
- Occasional overnight travel when required to support customer or corporate meetings.
