General Dentist Opportunity in Ulysses, KS

Prairie Vista Dental is seeking a General Dentist who is passionate about comprehensive patient care and building lasting relationships with patients. Our established practice provides an excellent foundation for a dentist who wants to grow clinically while becoming an integral part of the local community.

You will have the opportunity to provide a broad range of general dentistry services while working alongside a collaborative and supportive team.

General Dentist Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning

• Provide restorative and preventive dental care

• Perform crowns, bridges, extractions, veneers, and whitening

• Provide routine preventive services and oral hygiene education

• Administer local anesthesia and ensure patient comfort

• Perform oral cancer screenings

• Take impressions for dentures, mouthguards, and other dental appliances

• Utilize digital X-rays and modern dental technology

• Prescribe medications when appropriate

• Educate patients regarding treatment options and post-treatment care

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records

• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, sterilization, and infection-control standards

General Dentist Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school

• Active Kansas dental license or eligibility for licensure

• CPR certification

• Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and CDC guidelines

• Experience with dental practice management software preferred
