Job Description

Location: DDP1, 2900 Grant Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19114

Pay: $23.25–$25.00/hour | Shift: 10 hours

As a Delivery Driver at Golden Steps Logistics, you'll drive an Amazon-branded van and handle the final, most important step of every order: getting it into a customer's hands. You'll start and end each shift at Amazon's DDP1 station, following an optimized GPS route to deliver packages safely and on time throughout the Philadelphia community. No passengers, no sales quotas — just you, the road, and a route designed to get you home on schedule.

What a Day Looks Like

- Arrive at DDP1, complete a quick pre-trip vehicle check
- Load your van with the day's packages
- Follow your GPS-guided route and all traffic laws
- Deliver packages to homes and businesses SAFELY, professionally and courteously
- Scan and confirm deliveries using your handheld device
- Keep your vehicle clean, organized, and ready for the road
- Report any vehicle, route, or package issues to management right away
- Return to DDP1, debrief, and head home knowing you made a difference

Qualifications

As a Delivery Driver, You’ll Need:
•    To be at least 21 years old
•    A valid driver’s license (held for at least one year) and a clean driving record
•    Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs
•    Comfort using a handheld device and GPS navigation to manage your route
•    Strong time-management skills and the ability to stay focused during a full shift
•    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating with dispatch and fellow drivers as part of a team
•    A positive, customer-first attitude and reliable, consistent attendance
