Travel Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate:  $2,226.85/wk for 36 hours

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to medical-surgical patients throughout the night.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, responding swiftly to changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments with precision and care.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to create and adjust individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain a calm, safe, and supportive environment during night shifts.

• Active California RN license (required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 3 years of med-surg nursing experience
• Proof of negative TB screen within the last 12 months
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, night-shift environment

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of med-surg nursing standards and best practices
• Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR)
• Compassionate and resilient with a positive attitude
