What Your Shift Looks Like
Step into the role of first-line leader for our stamping press department in Ripon, WI. On 2nd shift (Monday–Thursday, 3:00 pm–1:00 am; additional work days may be scheduled as needed), you’ll coordinate day-to-day operations so a high‑volume line stays safe, productive, and on schedule—while your team feels supported and empowered.
Your Day, At a Glance- 3:00 pm — Start-up & Safety: Kick off with a safety huddle. Verify PPE use, reinforce policies, conduct quick audits, and drive root-cause reviews for recent incidents or near-misses.
- 4:00 pm — Production Ramp: Assign operators and technicians to optimize manpower. Monitor press performance, adjust workloads, and keep flow steady to hit aggressive output and quality targets.
- 6:00 pm — Coaching in Action: Practice servant leadership—coach, recognize wins, and remove roadblocks. Oversee attendance and conduct, serve as the first contact for employee relations matters, and collaborate with Union Stewards on contract or discipline topics.
- 8:00 pm — Continuous Improvement: Lead 5S, Kaizen, and Lean initiatives. Analyze downtime, scrap, and bottlenecks; coordinate countermeasures with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to protect throughput and efficiency.
- 10:30 pm — Cross-Functional Sync: Tackle quality, tooling, or maintenance issues quickly—especially under tight timelines—to keep delivery on track.
- 12:30 am — Reporting & Hand-off: Capture production, quality, and safety records. Summarize KPIs and prepare a clean pass-down for the next team.

- Results orientation: You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Proven record leading with a servant leadership approach.
- 1–3 years in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing.
- Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing; stamping press operations preferred.
- Working knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement (5S, Kaizen).
- Bachelor’s in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations preferred.
- Relevant internship or co-op experience will be considered.
- Ability to stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods; manual dexterity; lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
