Occupational Therapy Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide essential services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence while adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.
Responsibilities- Implement therapy interventions according to the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with patient and family education to promote understanding of treatment protocols.
- Communicate patient status and progress effectively to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain).
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
